Top 100 most popular & influential musicians on Twitter

Our team at Imagesound was curious about musicians on Twitter, so we started doing a little digging to find out about popular and influential musicians on Twitter. 

We have a list of 100 most popular musicians on Twitter, ranked by followers, going with the ‘the more followers you have, the more popular you are’ theory.We also have a list of 100 musicians on Twitter with the highest Klout score, which is the Twitter influence score.

Not surprisingly, most influential musicians on Twitter are US-based although we did find some UK gems in there, including Coldplay, Jessie J and Oasis, who all ranked high in the Klout influence list. It is interesting to compare the two lists, the latter even includes legends who are no longer with us, including the King of Pop Michael Jackson, the King of Rock Elvis Presley, our guitar hero Jimi Hendrix and reggae legend Bob Marley!
